More freeze damage

This is the Cape Honeysuckle that screens our pool from the
neighborhood below. The top several feet will have to be pruned.

Bye bye Ginger

Here's what the Ginger looks like now. The entire hillside below is
covered in dead Ginger stalks too. Note the dead ground cover and
bush in the foreground.

Woodstock's Ice Rink

Our birdbath is frozen solid this morning as the record cold continues
here in Central Florida. Last night's low was 27 and it is barely 32
now at 9 AM!

Our first fire of the season

It's supposed to rain tonight so we thought we'd order a pizza and
watch movies in front of the fire...

House gecko

This poor guy was frozen on the wall barely able to move when I
brought him inside to warm up. He's now resting warmly on top of the
water heater in the garage.

Record cold

We lost a lot of plants last night when the temps dipped into the
20's. The Ginger is the first to show damage.
