Triceratops Encounter at Islands of Adventure

I got up close to a Triceratops today. She is larger than an elephant! This exhibit in Jurassic Park is only open during very busy times like Christmas and Easter break.

Gators galore

The St. Johns River Estuary is home to thousands of alligators and we saw a lot!

Airboat ride

Glenn and I took a 90 minute tour of the St. John River. Here we went up a creek into a cypress swamp. We also saw lots of wildlife including herons, bald eagles, and LOTS of alligators.

In the 20 minutes we spent here, we saw 7 or 8 manatees swimming by.

A day at Epcot

Our friend Glenn from Palm Springs is visiting this week and we started the day in Animal Kingdom and hopped over to Epcot for the afternoon/evening.

First deck now wheelchair accessible

I completed the first deck today with a connecting ramp from the upper sidewalk. Now all that's left to do is a fresh coat of paint.

I found this fountain yesterday in the SPCA Thrift Store for $15 complete with basin and 4 working pumps of different sizes. It's new home is in the planter above the jacuzzi.
