We went thru the county construction permitting process to make all of our backyard construction legal and had our final inspection this morning. All is well and we are now complete and legal with the county!

Sea World Christmas

We enjoyed Sea World's Christmas Celebration tonight. Dined at Shark's Underwater Grille and watched the Sea of Trees light show and finished off with fireworks!

First is a Savory Holiday Waffle made with a stuffing batter and filled with turkey, gravy, and cranberry relish. The second is a Croissant Donut.

We went to see the new Atlantis Shuttle Exhibit at Kennedy Space Center today. Very impressive!

MouseAdventure World Explorers V

This was the last WDW World Explorers event. It was a grueling 2-day romp thru all 4 theme parks AND most Resorts, Water Parks, Mini-Golf, and even Downtown Disney! We are now awaiting results which will be announced late tonight.

The Book of Mornon

We will be testing the new Magic Band technology next month when the family visits. The bands arrived at the door today.

Villiany In The Sky on Friday the 13th at Disney Hollywood Studios

This was a special party at Disney Hollywood Studios on Friday, September 13th, 2013. There were 13 villains in the park having Meet-and-Greet. It was so popular, it filled the park (not to mention it's parking lot) to capacity. The all-new fireworks show was called, "Villainy In The Sky". It does not have much of a story line, but the music is great, and it is a massive assault on the senses.

It's not even Labor Day weekend yet and the Magic Kingdom is fully decorated for Halloween. It's still too early for that!

Dragon Knight

Chip shows off this year's DragonCon costume on the eve of his trip to Atlanta. He transforms into a dragon and the head swivels, the mouth opens and closes and the eyes even blink and shut!

A woodie and steel suspended coaster opened last week at Fun Spot on International Drive near Universal Studios.

Delta 4 twilight launch

After a few days of delays, the Delta 4 launch went off on time tonight at 8:29 PM. It wasn't dark enough yet to be considered a night launch, but it was still impressive!

Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin

Sea World's new attraction opened today. Waited 3.5 hours in the hot sun to get into the 30 degree attraction interior.

Terry and I and Mom and Dad took a ride on an airboat just a few minutes from our home at Lake Poinsett.    We Rode with Captain Rick Thrift at Grasshopper Airboat Ecotours.  Here is a quick video of how it feels during the high speed portions.
